Today we remember Hollywood born singer, songwriter,multi-instrumentalist, and record producer, Lowell George, on this, the 42nd anniversary of his passing. He died in 1979, age 34, from a heart attack caused by an accidental cocaine overdose. Lowell was known for his work with Frank Zappa and later started his on group, the boogie rock band , Little Feat. They wouldn't record another album, until 9 years later, with the release of Let it Roll.
