Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we gleefully celebrate the 81st Birthday of Arkansas born country music songwriter, singer and actor, Ed Bruce . Happy Birthday Ed ! His 11th studio album I Write It Down, was released in 1982 on the MCA label and produced by Tommy West. It peaked at #63 on Billboard's Top Country albums chart. He is perhaps best known for penning the outlaw country anthem,  "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys", as well as co-starring in James Garner's Bret Maverick television series in 1981-1982.
