Today we celebrate the 71st Birthday of Alan White, known for his work with the Plastic Ono Band, Joe Cocker, Ginger Baker, The Ventures, and progressive rockers Yes. It is Yes' twelfth studio album, Big Generator, is our soundtrack for the day. Big Generator was released September 21st, 1987 on the Atco label and produced by Yes, Trevor Horn, Trevor Rabin and Paul De Villiers. It peaked at #15 on the Billboard 200 and #17 in the UK. The Platinum selling disc, notable for it's move from progressive to more accessible pop oriented tunes, produced two singles; "Love Will Find A Way"(#30 Hot 100, #1 Mainstream Rock) and "Rhythm of Love" (#40 Hot 100, #2 Mainstream Rock).
