STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - ALICE COOPER - FROM THE INSIDE

Good morning, Thursday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Owosso, Michigan (I've been there, I have cousins who live there. ) based guitarist Dick Wagner, known for his work with Lou Reed, KISS, and Alice Cooper, on this, the 6th anniversary of his death. He passed away in 2014, age 71, from respiratory failure. With him in mind, we spotlight the 4th solo album by Alice Cooper (the man, as opposed to Alice Cooper, the band). From The Inside was released November 17, 1978 on the Warner Brothers label and produced by famed musician and producer David Foster. The LP reached #68 in the UK, #60 in the US and Canada, #14 in the Netherlands and New Zealand, and #12 in Austrailia. Two singles were released, the non-charting title track and "How You Gonna See Me Now" (#61 UK, #19 New Zealand, #12 US, Canada, #9 Netherlands, Australia). The record is one of many concept albums in Cooper's catalog, this one inspired by his stint in a New York asylum for alcoholism. The characters in the story all all based on real people Alice met while on the inside. The album's design sees little doors that you can open and see what's inside, which is mostly album credits. The credits read like a who's who of musicians ...
