Good Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . According to the Sesame Street calendar hanging on the wall besides me, it's United Nations Day. It was on this day in 1945 that that organization came into being. To mark the occasion, we find ourselves listening to this 1963 United Nations Records release,  "United Nations Unique Record To Aid The World's Refugees", All Star Festival. The LP collects songs from such great acts as Bing Crosby And Louis Armstrong, Doris Day, Patti Page, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat "King" Cole, Mahalia Jackson, and more. The liner notes are by Yul Brynner. We have two copies with different labels which I'll show in the pictures below. The record originally came with an information booklet, but that is long since gone. Our older copy didn't have a dust jacket and our newer one that we got from my Wife's Cousin Becky did. Thanks Cousin Becky !
