Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we joyfully celebrate the 75th Birthday of Brooklyn born drummer and percussionist, Carmine Appice, best known for his work in  Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Beck, Bogert & Appice, Rod Stewart,  King Kobra,  and Blue Murder. It's his work on Cactus' third record that is our interest today. Restrictions was released October 18, 1971 on the ATCO label and produced by Geoffrey Haslam. It peaked at #155 on the Billboard 200 and spawned four singles ; "Token Chokin'", "Evil", "Alaska" and "Sweet 16". "Evil" is a cover of Howlin' Wolf from 1954.
