This week (03-15-22) also marks what would have been the 95th Birthday of Tennessee born country music guitarist and vocalist, Carl Smith. The Country Music Hall of Famer was born March 15, 1927 and died January 16, 2010, age 82, of undisclosed causes. In addition to to scoring 30 Top Ten hits Carl was also the first husband of June Carter and they have a daughter together, Carlene Carter, a country musician herself. Today we spin this 1966 Columbia Record Club release, Walkin' Tall.
