Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Monday (12/12/22)was a busy day in the musical history dustbins. Not only was it Dionne Warwick's , Frank Sinatra's, and Dickey Bett's Birthday, it also marked two years since the passing of country music singer, guitarist, and professional baseball player, Charlie Pride. He was born March 18, 1934 in  Sledge, Mississippi and passed away in 2020, age 86, from complications of the virus. He is severely missed. We honor his legacy, by spinning his debut record, Country Charley Pride. The LP was released in 1966 on the RCA Victor label and produced by Bob Ferguson, Chet Atkins, and Jack Clement. It peaked at #16 on the Top Country Albums chart and has been certofied Gold in the US.
