STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - CLIVILLES + COLE - GREATEST REMIXES VOL. 1

Good morning vinyl enthusiasts and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember record producer and musician David Cole, who with his musical partner,  Robert Clivillés, are best known as the C+C in the C+C Music Factory. Cole passed away on this day in 1995, age 32, from spinal meningitis.  To honor his legacy we spotlight this 4 record compilation box set,  Greatest Remixes Vol. 1.  The LPs were released in 1992 on the Columbia label and produced by Clivillés + Cole. They reached #87 on the Billboard 200 and #45 in the UK.  The set features remixes of many groups Cole + Clivillés worked with over the years including The Cover Girls, Seduction, Chaka Khan, Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam,  C+C Music Factory, and even a way cool remix of U2's "Pride (In the Name of Love)". Our copy is a Promotional - Not For Sale- DJs Only, copy.
