Good Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we joyfully celebrate the 77th Birthday of George Frayne IV, better known as Commander Cody of Commander Cody And His Lost Planet Airmen. Happy Birthday Cody ! With him in mind, we spotlight their second studio record, Hot Licks, Cold Steel & Truckers Favorites. The LP was released May 1972 on the Paramount label and peaked at #94 on the Billboard 200. "Mama Hated Diesels" and "Watch My .38" were released as singles, but did not chart.
