Good morning Sunday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Scottish bassist Jack Bruce, best known for his work with English rock band Cream,  on this, the 6th anniversary of his passing. He died in 2014, age 71, from liver disease. To honor his storied legacy, we spotlight the band's second compilation album, Heavy Cream. The double LP was released October 9, 1972 on the Polydor label and produced by Felix Pappalardi and Robert Stigwood. It reached #135 on the Billboard 200. The discs collects the best Cream songs from their 4 record catalog. Guest on the album include Mountain bassist Felix Pappalardi and George Harrison. Our copy was purchased a few years ago, right here in Lakeland, at Jesse Carl Vinyl.
