Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember English musician and actor David Bowie on what would have been his 73 Birthday. Liver cancer claimed his life and he passed beyond these earthly realms 4 years ago, two days after his 69th Birthday and the release of his 25th studio record Blackstar. To honor his legacy we shine a light on his 4th album, Hunky Dory. Hunky Dory was released December 17, 1971 on the RCA label and produced by Ken Scott and David Bowie . It peaked at #3 in the UK and gave birth to two singles ; "Changes" Billboard Hot 100 #66 and "Life on Mars?" UK Singles #3. Following his death the LP reached #57 on the Billboard 200. During his life it's estimated he sold over 140 million records.
