Today we celebrate British drummer, songwriter, actor, and co -founder of the rock band Fleetwood Mac, Mick Fleetwood, as he celebrates his 75th Birthday. Happy Birthday Mick ! Witt him in mind, we shine a light on their  eleventh studio album, Rumours. The LP was released February 4, 1977 on the Warner Brothers label and produced by the band with Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut. It peaked at #116 in France, #37 in Switzerland, #33 in Japan, #25 in Austria, #23 in Denmark, #20 in Hungary, #18 in Sweden, #17 in Norway, #13 in Belgian, #6 in Germany , #2 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums chart, and #1 in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, the UK, Billboard's Top Catalog Albums, and the Billboard 200. It has been certified 15X Platinum in the US and has sold over 40 million copies worldwide. Four singles were released from the 11 track disc ; "Go Your Own Way" (#45 Adult Contemporary, #38 UK, #11 West Germany, Canada,  #10 Hot 100, Cash Box, #4 South Africa, #1 Belgian, the Netherlands) , "Dreams" (#11  Adult Contemporary, #8 the Netherlands, #4 Canada Adult Contemporary, #1 Canada Top Singles, Hot 100) , "Don't Stop" (#6 Belgian, #4 the Netherlands, #3 Hot 100, #1 Cash Box, Canada) ,  and "You Make Loving Fun" (#45 UK, #28 Adult Contemporary, #9 Hot 100, #7 Canada, Cash Box). Our copy is a German pressing with the textured cover. 

My beautiful Wife has seen Fleetwood Mac on more than one occasion , and in her vast concert ticket collection she has one from May 29, 1977, where she saw then at the Tangerine Bowl in Orlando with Bob Seger, Chick Corea, and Kenny Loggins. I'll include a couple of photos of said ticket.
