STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - HOWARD KEEL - WITH LOVE : FOR YESTERDAY, TODAY , & TOMORROW

Good morning faithful readers and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Gillespie, Illinois native, actor and singer, Howard Keel, on what would have been his 104th Birthday. He was born in 1919 to parents Homer Keel, a Navy Veteran and coalminer and Grace Margaret. He passed away November 7, 2004, age 85, from colon cancer. He was primarily known for his roles in a number of musicals like Annie Get Your Gun,  Pagan Love Song, Show Boat, and  Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, but for me he will always be oil baron, Clayton Farlow, on the CBS primetime soap Dallas. He married Miss Ellie after the Ewing patriarch, Jock passed away. Today we have Howard on this 1964 Silver Eagle Records release, With Love: For Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow.
