STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - JOURNEY - RAISED ON RADIO

Good morning faithful readers and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember session drummer, Larrie Londin, on what would have been his 77th Birthda. He passed away in 1992 after suffering a heart attack. They say he was the second most listened to derummer in the world behind Hal Blaine. He is  known for his work with Adrian Belew, Glen Campbell, Rosanne Cash, Rosemary Clooney, Rodney Crowell, Joe Cocker, Glenn Frey, Vince Gill,  Amy Grant, Emmylou Harris, Journey, B.B. King, Reba McEntire, and Dolly Parton, to name a few. It's his work on Journey's ninth studio album, Raised On Radio, that we turn our collective ears towards today. Raised On Radio was released April 21, 1986 on the Columbia label and produced by vocalist Steve Perry. It peaked at #22 in the UK, #16 in Sweden and #4 in the US. Six of the record's 11 tracks were released as singles, as noted (*) below :
