STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - LITTLE ANTHONY AND THE IMPERIALS - GOIN' OUT OF MY HEAD

Good morning faithful readers and welcome to the Tuesday, Saint Patrick's Day edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. While the parades and festivities may have been shuttered this year, that doesn't mean we can't celebrate the 79th Birthday of baritone vocalist Clarence "Wa-hoo" Collins, co-founder of the doo wop group, Little Anthony And The Imperials. Happy Birthday Clarence. With him in mind we spotlight their 1965 DCP Records release, Goin' Out Of My Head. The LP landed at #74 on the Billboard 200 and #5 on the R&B albums chart. The title track reached #6 on both the pop and R&B charts, while "Hurt" peaked at #51 on the Hot 100 and "Hurt So Bad" at #10 Hot 100 and #3 R&B.
