Good Monday morning gang and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we find ourselves celebrating the 63rd Birthday of Madonna Louise Ciccone, known the world over as simply Madonna. The Michigan born singer, songwriter, actress, and Queen Of Pop has released 14 albums and sold over 300 million copies, but it is her third album, True Blue, which is our focus today. True Blue was released in 1986 on the the Sire label and produced by  Madonna, Stephen Bray, and Patrick Leonard. The album is an international #1, clenching the top spot in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, the Netherlands, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, the Philippines, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, as well as the Cash Box and the Billboard 200 in the US, where it has been certified 7X Platinum. Five singles were released from the 9 track album :

"Live To Tell" (#1 in Canada, Canada Adult Contemporary,  European Hot 100 Singles, European Airplay Top 50, Greece, Italy, Hot 100, Billboard Adult Contemporary, and the Cash Box Top 100 Singles)

This album came in a huge 600 + donation to our collection by our good friend Brad. The records belonged to his Grandparents and he wanted them to go to a good home. All the other albums were either gospel or country except this one. It is our only Madonna album (on vinyl) as well. Thanks Brad !
