Good Thursday morning gang, and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember Loretta Mary Aiken, the North Carolina born stand up comedian, better known by her stage name, Moms Mabley, on what would have been her 126th Birthday. She passed away in 1975, age 81, from heart failure. With her in mind, we spotlight her 15th album, Moms Mabley At The White House Conference. The LP was released in 1966 on the Mercury label and produced by Hal Mooney. It was recorded at the Apollo Theatre, in New York.
