STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - NATIONAL LAMPOON - GOLD TURKEY (RADIO HOUR / GREATEST HITS)

Good morning faithful readers and welcome to the Thanksgiving 2021 edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again, also known as Thursday. We are thankful for many things, including all of YOU. As you make your last minute appropriations before heading over to, or receiving your Thanksgiving guests, so you can gather around the table and argue over the dryness/juiciness of the bird, football, politics, or if indeed we should be listening to Christmas music before the bird enters the oven. We thought we'd keep things light and lovable as possible with this 1975 compilation comedy sketch album from Epic Records, National Lampoon Gold Turkey. The LP is a greatest hits collection culled from the National Lampoon Radio Hour which aired on 600 stations in the mid 70s. On it we see stars such as Christopher Guest, Bill Murray, John Belushi, Brian Doyle-Murray, Chevy Chase, Harold Ramis, Gilda Radner, and Ed Subitzky, making us laugh until our sides split. This album was recently purchased at Treasure House Antiques & Collectibles in Winter Haven, where my beautiful Wife Lynn has her booths. It is a Promotional Copy with the mock contest flyer still inside.
