STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - NAZARETH - RAZAMAMAZ

Good Thursday morning to you vinyl enthusiasts and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember drummer and founding member of the rock band Nazareth, Darrell Sweet, on this the 21st anniversary of his death. He passed away in 1999, age 51 of a heart attack. His impressive run with the band lasted 30 years  and 20 albums, but it is their third one, Razamanaz, that is our subject of focus today. Razamanaz was released August of 1973 on the A&M label and produced by Roger Glover (of Deep Purple/ Rainbow fame) . The Gold certified disc peaked at #157 on the Billboard 200, #39 in Canada, and #11 in the UK. "Broken Down Angel" (#9 UK) and (#10 UK) were released as singles.
