STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - OLIVIA NEWTON-JOHN - PHYSICAL

Good Sunday morning, morning people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . On this day in 1948,  British-Australian singer, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, activist, and Dame, Olivia Newton-John, was born. Today the multi Platinum recording artist celebrates her 74th Birthday and we wish her a very Happy Birthday ! To mark the occasion we find ourselves spinning our only ONJ album, Physical ( I mean we have the soundtracks to Grease and Xanadu, but still ...). Physical, her most successful album to date was released October 13th, 1981 on the MCA label and produced by her longtime collaborator, John Farrar, who also wrote a good deal of the material. The controversial album peaked at #32 on the Top R&B albums, #30 in Germany, #13 in Italy, #11 in the UK, #9 in the Netherlands, #8 in New Zealand and Norway, #6 on the Billboard 200, and #3 in Australia, Canada, and Sweden. The title track (#1 in Australia, Belgium, Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland, Hot 100, Cash Box) , "Make A Move On Me" (#43 UK, #6 US Adult Contemporary, #5 Hot 100, Cash Box, #4 Canada), and "Landslide" (#52 Hot 100, #39 Netherlands, #18 Belgium, UK) were released as singles.
