Good morning Friday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today we remember Chicago born actor and comedian, Robin Williams, on what would have been his 72nd Birthday. He was born in 1951 to parents Robert Fitzgerald Williams, a senior executive in Ford's Lincoln-Mercury Division and Laurie McLaurin, was a former model. He committed suicide on August 11, 2014. He was 63 years old and he is severely missed. With him in mind we spotlight his first stand up comedy album. Reality... What A Concept was recorded live at the Copacabana, in New York City and The Boarding House, in San Francisco. It was released in 1979 on Casablanca Records and Brooks Arthur and Neil Bogart served as producers. It reached #10 on the Billboard 200. Our copy came from the now Legendary J.R.'s Junk Trunk.
