To commemorate the date we find ourselves spinning his fourth studio album. Never A Dull Moment was released July 21, 1972 on Mercury Records and produced by Rod Stewart. It peaked at #56 in Japan, #37 in West Germany, #22 in Italy, #8 in Norway, #4 in Sweden, #3 in Australia, #2 in the Netherlands and on the Billboard 200, and #1 in Canada and the UK. "You Wear It Well" (#35 Germany, #19 South Africa, #14 Cash Box, #13 Australia, Hot 100, #7 Canada, #4 New Zealand, #2 Ireland, #1 UK) , "Angel" (#40 Hot 100) , and "Twistin' the Night Away" (#9 Hot 100, #6 New Zealand, UK, Cash Box, #1 R&B) were released as singles.
