STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - TEN YEARSAFTER - ROCK & ROLL MUSIC TO THE WORLD

Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we celebrate the 78th Birthday of English drummer, Ric Lee, best known as a founding member and drummer for the the blues rock band Ten Years After. Happy Birthday Ric ! With him in mind we spotlight their seventh studio album, Rock & Roll Music To The World. The LP was released September 1972 on the Columbia label and produced by the band. It reached #43 on the Billboard 200, #30 in Germany, #27 in the UK, #22 in Finland, #19 in Canada, #15 in Norway, #8 in Sweden, and #2 in Denmark. "You Can't Win Them All", "Rock 'n' Roll Music to the World", "Choo Choo Mama", "Tomorrow I'll Be Out of Town", and "Standing at the Station" were released as singles, but only "Choo Choo Mama" charted (#89 Hot 100). By beautiful Wife saw Ten Years After on August 19, 1978 at the Tampa Jam #1. Also on the bill were Joe Cocker, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Seals & Crofts, Black Oak Arkansas, Wet Willie, and The Cooper Brothers. I'll enclose the ticket in the pictures section below.
