STUCK IN THE VINYL AGAIN - THE FOUR SEASONS - STORIES

Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Friday and New Year's Eve 2021 edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we spin our last album of the year,  while we remember  New Jersey born  bass singer, songwriter, and bass guitarist,  Nick Massi, best known for his work with The Four Seasons. He passed away on Christmas Eve in the year 2000, age 73, from cancer. To mark the occasion, we spotlight this double compilation called Stories. Stories was released in 1975 on the Private Stock label and peaked at #51 on the Billboard 200. It has sold over a million copies in the US. Massi was with The Four Seasons from 1960 to 1965 and is responsible for most of the vocal arrangements from those times. This a really great compilation that showcases the variety of sound (doo wop, rock, pop, even a little disco) the four members could produce. If you don't already have this in your collection, we highly recommend it.
