Good morning vinyl enthusiasts and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember guitarist and co founder, Bob Bugle, of the American instrumental rock band , The Ventures, on what would have been his 86th Birthday. He passed away in 2009, age 75, from non-Hodgkin lymphoma. With him in mind, we spotlight their self titled sophomore album, The Ventures. It was released June 26, 1961 on the Dolton label and peaked at #105 on Billboard's album chart and #24 on the Cashbox charts. The Ventures are one of those bands you just can't help but smile, when you are listening to them.
