Good Tuesday morning to you all and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we are ecstatic to celebrate the 85th Birthday of Kentucky born country music songwriter, singer, instrumentalist, novelist, and short-story writer, Tom T. Hall. Happy Birthday Tom ! Tom released his second greatest hits compilation, appropriately titled, Greatest Hits Vol. 2 in 1985 on the Mercury label. The Gold certified disc peaked at #12 on the Country albums charts and was produced by Jerry Kennedy. We have two slightly different copies of this record. One has a sepia colored picture of Tom T. on the front while the other has a more black and white look. Also on the label one says Mercury while the other reads this number instead : R114450 A.
