Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we celebrate the 72nd Birthday of Dallas born bassist, keyboardist and vocalist, Dusty Hill, of ZZ Top. Happy Birthday Dusty ! The trio released their fifth studio album, Tejas, November 29, 1976 on the London label. The Gold certified disc was produced by Bill Ham and peaked at #17 in the US and #72 in Australia. Two singles were released ;  "It's Only Love" (#44 Hot 100)  and "Arrested For Driving While Blind" (#91 Hot 100). The name of the album comes from a Native American language called Caddo, and means friends. It is also the origin of the name Texas.
