That child would grow up to be the singer-songwriter, arranger, musician, producer and actor Barry Manilow. Happy Birthday Barry ! With him in mind, we spotlight his seventh studio album, Barry. Barry was released November 19, 1980, on Arista Records and produced by Mr. Manilow, himself and Ron Dante. It peaked at #15 on the Billboard 200 and #5 in the UK. The Platinum certified disc spawned three singles ; "I Made It Through The Rain"(#10 Hot 100, #4 Adult Contemporary), "Lonely Together" (#45 Hot 100, #7 Adult Contemporary), and "Bermuda Triangle"(#15 UK). Lily Tomlin joins Barry for "The Last Duet".
