Good morning gang and welcome to it. We bring you the Tuesday edtion of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Our record of choice is Leo Kottke's 1974 Capitol Records release, Ice Water. The acoustic folk Americana album contains his most sucessful single, a cover of Tom T. Hall's "Pamela Brown" . Ice water reached #69 on Billboards album chart.

"Morning is the Long Way Home" – 6:26
"Pamela Brown" ( Tom T. Hall cover ) – 4:03
"A Good Egg" – 3:10
"Tilt Billings and the Student Prince" – 4:56
"All Through the Night" – 1:30

"Short Stories" – 3:01
"You Tell Me Why" ( The Beau Brummels cover ) – 3:58
"You Know I Know You Know" – 4:08
"Born to Be With You" ( The Chordettes cover ) – 3:02
"A Child Should Be a Fish" – 3:45

The album and artist are new to this editor so if you are hearing about Leo for the first time, you are not alone. The average internet opinion is, this is not the album to start with, because they say it's not represenative of his work as a whole. That just makes me glad that it was my introduction to him, because of you know, spitting in the face of conventional wisdom and all that .... anyways .... . We will definitely be looking for more Leo Kottke for our collection.

Have a great day. Do something. Or nothing. You decide, but what ever you do or don't do, make your way back here after the day is done and we will share a tune from Ice Water. Wake up with us in the AM, as we reveal the Wednesday selection from the record collection.

Thanks.
