SATURDAY'S SINGLES : PERRY COMO and PERRY COMO

Good morning gang and welcome to the return of the Christmas edition of Saturday's Singles. Yes Virginia, this is a Christmas and it is today ! We get the festivities started with this double shot of  singer, actor and television personality, Perry Como. We have these two cool Extended Play 45s that come in cardboard sleeves that look like ornaments, that you can actually hang on the tree. They were released in 1953 on the RCA Victor label and were the nucleus of his Christmas album, "All Around the Christmas Tree". 

One of them is titled Christmas Joy and this is the track list :

However when I opened it, it had a different 45 inside with these songs instead :

Frosty The Snowman

Jingle Bells

1,3, 5 Russ Case and His Orchestra

2,4     Mitchell Ayres' Orchestra

With a little more research, I was able to find that this record is actually from 1956 and is called  Perry Como Sings Merry Christmas Music.
