Good morning vinyl junkies and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we celebrate Steven Tyler, the multi-instrumentalist, singer--songwriter and actor, who fronts the Boston based rock band Aerosmith, is turning 72 today. Happy Birthday Steven ! To start things off, we feature the group's sixth studio album, Night In The Ruts. Night In The Ruts was released November of 1979 on the Columbia label. It was co-produced by the band and Gary Lyons, David Krebs, and Steve Leber. It peaked at #39 in Japan, #14 on the Billboard 200, and #8 in Canada. The LP has been certified Platinum in the US. It's sole single, a cover of a 1964 song by the girl group The Shangri-Las, "Remember (Walking In The Sand)" reached #67 on the Hot 100 and #29 in Canada.
