Good morning, morning people and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today our record of choice is In Due Time by Long Island based psychedelic rock band, with healthy doses of soul and jazz, Aesop's Fables (not to be confused with the Australian band of the same name). The LP was released in 1969 on the Cadet Concept label and produced by Bob Gallo. The vocals by Sonny Bottari are very reminiscent of David Clayton Thomas and the overall sound of the group is Blood, Sweat, & Tears meets The Lovin' Spoonful meets The Young Rascals meets Cream. They even cover the Supremes’ "I’m Gonna Make You Love Me’". Our copy was purchased within the past few years at Lakeland's very own, Jesse Carl Vinyl .
