Good morning vinyl enthusiasts and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we joyfully celebrate the 78th Birthday of Brooklyn born singer, actress, and filmmaker, Barbara Streisand. Happy Birthday Barbara ! With her in mind we spotlight her 15th studio record, The Way We Were. The LP was released January 1, 1974 on the Columbia label and produced by Wally Gold, Tommy LiPuma, and Marty Paich. It peaked at #49 in the UK, #3 in Canada, and #1 on the Billboard 200. The disc yielded two singles ; "All In Love Is Fair" (#63 Hot 100, #10 Adult Contemporary) and the title track (#1 in Canada, Canada Adult Contemporary, Hot 100, and Adult Contemporary). She also includes a rather enjoyable cover of Paul Simon's  "Something So Right".
