Good morning vinyl enthusiasts and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we wish Philadelphia born stand-up comedian, actor, author, and convicted sex offender, Bill Cosby a Happy 83rd Birthday. (That's right, on this page even criminals have Birthdays.) To commemorate the date we spotlight Bill's 6th studio album, and his first ever musical one, Silver Throat: Bill Cosby Sings. The LP was released in 1967 on the Warner Brothers label and produced by Fred Smith. Although hailed as a musical comedy record, the music is really just straightforward blues and a enjoyable listen. Cosby is backed by the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band.
