Good morning Friday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. It was on this day in 1999 that English singer, drummer, songwriter, record producer and actor, Phil Collins got his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. To commemorate the date we shine a light on the debut album by progressive rock jazz fusion band, Brand X. The band was formed in 1974 by John Goodsall (guitar), Percy Jones (bass), Robin Lumley (keyboards), and Phil Collins (drums). Their debut LP, Unorthodox Behavior was released June 18th 1976 on Passport Records and was produced by Brand X and Dennis Mackay. It peaked at #191 on the Billboard 200. all the tracks are instrumental. We've had our copy for years and finally listened to it last night. It was purchased at the now Legendary J.R.'s Junk Trunk. Speaking of The Trunk, I found a couple of old promo videos for it on You Tube that I will share down below around the pictures.
