Today we remember beloved musician and star of radio, stage, television and film, Burl Ives, on the 25th anniversary of his death. He passed away in 1995, age 85 from throat cancer. With him in mind, we spotlight this split LP, Burl Ives Sings Five Early Tunes / Also Starring Ed McCurdy. The album was released in 1963 on the Spin-O-Rama label and features Burl on the A side and Ed on the flip-side.
