Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again . Today marks 20 years since the death of Tennessee born musician, occasional vocalist, songwriter, and record producer, Chester Burton "Chet" Atkins, known simply the world over as Chet Atkins. He died in 2001, age 77, after a long battle with cancer. With him in mind, we spotlight this 1977 RCA Victor collaborative album, Chet, Floyd & Danny, by Chet Atkins, Floyd Cramer, and Nashville Brass creator Danny Davis. The record reached #46 on the Country Albums chart. These instrumental versions of beloved songs made for a great listening experience during yesterday afternoon's rainstorm.
