Good morning, morning people, ,and welcome to the Tuesday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. It was on this day in 2001, that Macon, Georgia designated a stretch of highway, "Duane Allman Boulevard", near where the 24 guitarist lost his life in a motorcycle accident. With him in mind, we spotlight the double album anthology, appropriately titled An Anthology. An Anthology was released in November of 1972 on the Mercury label. It peaked at #28 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified Gold in the US. It collects his work as a session player with other acts, his work in the Allman Brothers, his band the Hourglass, as well as rare solo material.
