Today we remember English singer, songwriter, bassist, guitarist and record producer Greg Lake, on what would have been his 73rd Birthday. the founder of both King Crimson and Emerson, Lake, & Palmer, passed away in 2016, age 69, from cancer. With him in our hearts and ears, we find ourselves spinning ELP's self titled debut. The record was released November 20, 1970 on the Cotillion label and produced by Greg Lake. it peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200 and #4 in the UK. The album's sole single, "Lucky Man" reached #48 on the Hot 100.
