With him in mind, we spotlight their third greatest hits compilation, The Best Of Eric Burdon And The Animals – Vol. II. The LP was released June of 1967, on the MGM label. and at #54 on the Cashbox charts and #48 on the Record World charts. It collects tracks from 3 previous (to 1967) lineups, plus a newer single ("When I Was Young") by the newly renamed Eric Burdon And The Animals. The album includes a collaboration with Frank Zappa ("The Other Side Of This Life") and a Donovan cover with "Hey Gyp".
