Good morning Friday people and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Lonesome Dave Peverett, of Foghat and Savoy Brown fame, on what would have been his 78th Birthday. He passed away in 2000, age 56, from kidney cancer. Foghat's third album, Energized, was released January 1974, on Bearsville Records and produced by Tom Dawes. It peaked at #34 in the US, where it has been certified Gold. "Step Outside" was released as a single, but failed to chart.
