Today we joyfully celebrate the 70th Birthday of British drummer and sculptor Dennis Elliot, best known for his work with New York based rock band, Foreigner. Happy Birthday Dennis ! To mark the occasion, we spotlight Foreigner's 4th studio recording, conveniently called 4. 4 was released July 2, 1981 on the Atlantic label and produced by Mick Jones and Robert John "Mutt" Lange. It peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200 and has been certified 7X Platinum. Over half the album, 6 out of 10 tracks were released as singles, as noted (*) below :
