Good morning faithful readers and welcome back to the Thursday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we find ourselves celebrating the 70th Birthday of Jersey born comedian, actor, author, and talk show host, Joe Piscopo. Happy Birthday Joe ! Joe released his only comedy album, New Jersey, in 1985 on the Columbia label. It was produced by Hal Willner and reached #168 on the Billboard 200. Among Joe's co-stars are Eddie Murphy, Rocky & Bullwinkle (Bill Scott and June Foray) , the bands Captain Billy's Whiz Bang and The Uptown Horns, Martha Quinn and Little Steven. On it Joe can be heard doing impressions of Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, and David Letterman. We bought this years ago at the now Legendary I.R.'s Junk Trunk and have been waiting for what seems an eternity to feature it. Believe it or not, there no website that keeps up with comedians' Birthdays like their are musicians; and I kept missing Joe's Birthday.
