Good Thursday morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today is the 61st Birthday of New York born actor and country music performer, John Schneider. Happy Birthday John ! His 5th studio album, Too Good To Stop Now, was released in 1984 on the MCA label and produced by Jimmy Bowen . It peaked at #4 on the Top Country albums chart, and #111 on the Billboard 200. The record's opening track, "I've Been Around Enough to Know", a cover of Jo-El Sonnier's 1975 song, reached #1on both the American and Canadian Country Singles charts, as did the second single, "Country Girls". Our copy was new and still sealed and then opened for this occasion. I've included an Awkward Opening video down around the pictures, if you like watching those.
