The Christmas Spirit by Johnny Cash was released November 11, 1963 on the Columbia label and produced by Don Law and Frank Jones. The LP, Cash's first Christmas album and his overall 17th, peaked at #7 Holiday Albums chart It contains four of his originals and eight covers, including it's sole single, "The Little Drummer Boy" (#24 Holiday Singles, #63 Country Singles). This copy was a recent purchase from The Wax And The Needle.
