Good morning Wednesday warriors and welcome back to Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we count the candles on the cake of Brooklyn born keyboardist and media music composer, author, academic, and corporate executive, best known for his work in the Canadian rock band, Lighthouse. Happy 78th Birthday Paul Hoffert. To get the party started we spin the group's 7th record, Lighthouse Live ! . The double live LP was recorded Live at Carnegie Hall, February 6, 1972 and then released in July that same year on the Evolution label and produced by Jimmy Ienner. It peaked at #178 on the Billboard 200, #122 on both the Cash Box and Record World Charts, and #8 in Canada where it has been certified Platinum. In fact it was the first Canadian record to go Platinum.
