Good morning record enthusiasts and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again . In addition to Friday, it is also the 76th Birthday of  Tucson, Arizona born singer-songwriter, guitarist, record producer, and actress, Linda Ronstadt . Happy Birthday Linda ! To get her party started, we find ourselves spinning her tenth studio album, Mad Love. Mad Love was released  February 1980 on the Asylum label and produced by Peter Asher, who you might remember from the 1960s pop music duo, Peter and Gordon. The LP peaked at #85 in the UK, #37 in the Netherlands, #34 in Norway, #22 in New Zealand, and #3 on the Billboard 200. It was her 7th consecutive album to be certified Platinum. Three singles were released from the 10 track album ;  "How Do I Make You" (#68 Hot 100), a cover of Little Anthony & The Imperials' "Hurt So Bad" (#9 Cash Box, #8 Hot 100) and "I Can't Let Go" (#44 Canada, #42 Hot 100, #30 West Germany, #20 the Netherlands, #14 South Africa, #10 Sweden, #9 New Zealand, #6 Ireland, #1 UK). The album is generally seen as her New Wave album.
