Good morning record heads and welcome back to the Sunday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. It was on this very day 20 years ago that singer-songwriter and guitarist. Kenny Loggins received his star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. As we reflect on that moment, we take a listen to this double live album by him and his musical partner, and Poco founder, Jim Messina, On Stage. On Stage was recorded April 28–29, 1972 at the Winterland, San Francisco, March 4, 1973, at the Orpheum Theatre, Boston, and March 12, 1973, at Carnegie Hall, New York and then released the following year on the Columbia label. The Messina produced discs reached #5 on the Billboard 200. I've never seen Loggins And Messina live, but if this album is any indication, I really missed out ...
