Good morning, morning people and welcome back to the Friday edition of Stuck In The Vinyl Again. Today we remember actor and journalist, Louis Jean Heydt, on this, the 6st anniversary of his passing. He died in 1960, age 56, of a heart attack. The actor appeared in over 100 films, often playing the hapless fall guy. In Victor Fleming's film adaptation of Margaret Mitchell's novel, Gone With The Wind, he plays the hungry soldier seen holding Ashley and Melanie's son, Beau Wilkes (who is played by Mickey Kuhn, now age 88. He is the last cast member who is still living). The Original Soundtrack Album to Gone With The Wind was released in 1967. Our version is on the RCA Victor label. The score was composed and conducted by Max Steiner and performed by his Orchestra which included Hugo Friedhofer, Maurice de Packh, Bernard Kaun, Adolph Deutsch and Reginald Bassett.
